VANDA 'Vivian'

Vanda vivian is a very attractive orchid with red spots on cream coloured flowers . It is one of the most beautiful Vanda orchids available.

They have an average head size is 1 to 3 inches in diameter, with a stem length that will have a minimum length of 10 to 12 inches. The expected vase life for this Vanda flower is a minimum of 8 days.

Dividing a Vanda

One method of dividing a Vanda is to cut off the top part of the plant below one or two of the roots arising from the stem. The top part is supported or tied on a raft. If they are planted in pots they need good drainage. Vandae could be hanged in a basket without any medium. The stem and the roots may need to be tied up to the basket.

They need good sunlight and warmth. Vandae have erect and paralell stem. The aerial roots with green tip indicated good healthy growth.
